Winter Fuel and Age-related Payments - claim before 30 March 2006
Winter Fuel and Age-Related Payment claims for 2005/06 close on 30 March 2006. If you have not already received your Winter Fuel and/or Age-Related Payment but believe that you qualify, it is important that your claim reaches us by the closing date.
A Winter Fuel Payment is an annual payment to help people aged 60 and over with their winter heating bills.
Age-Related Payments are one-off payments being paid this year only. The Government is paying these (as well as the Winter Fuel Payments) to help people with either their Council Tax bills or to help them meet additional living expenses.
