New 'I'm better off' Pensioner Campaign
The latest Pension Credit campaign encourages pensioners to contact us to find out if they are entitled to Pension Credit.
The campaign highlights that over 3 million pensioners are already receiving extra money through Pension Credit and encourages those not in receipt to see if they could join them.
Pension Credit is an entitlement for people aged 60 and over who are living in Great Britain. It guarantees everyone aged 60 or over a minimum weekly income. It could mean extra money every week and possibly a backdated payment for up to 12 months.
People who are over 65 may get additional Pension Credit to reward them for saving for their retirement. The rates of Pension Credit depend on whether you are single or married.
Over 3 million people are now receiving money that’s rightfully theirs. Yet over a million people still haven’t picked up their entitlement. Please don’t be one of them.
